Essential Requirements
Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management and Leadership or equivalent Registered Manager AwardStrong leadership and team management experience within adult servicesKnowledge of RISCA regulationsExperience managing adults with enduring mental health needs and co occurring physical health needsAbility to manage clinical oversight and medication systemsFull flexibility to participate in on call
A nursing qualification is advantageous but not essential
The Role
We are supporting a national care provider to appoint a Registered Manager for a well established adult mental health service in the Denbigh area.
You will hold full operational responsibility for the service, ensuring high quality, person centred care delivery aligned to regulatory and organisational standards.
Key responsibilities include
Managing and leading a multidisciplinary team including nurses and support workersDelivering supervision, appraisals, competency assessments and team meetingsOverseeing care planning, risk assessments and clinical governanceEnsuring safe medication management systems and accurate record keepingMaintaining regulatory compliance in line with RISCA standardsDriving service culture, performance and staff wellbeingParticipating in the on call rotaEnsuring the service environment meets required quality standards
This is a hands on leadership role requiring resilience, accountability and strong operational oversight.
