Role Description
The Head of Maths will lead the mathematics department, oversee curriculum development, and ensure high standards of teaching and learning. This role involves mentoring and supporting staff, monitoring student progress, and implementing strategies to improve academic outcomes. The Head of Maths will collaborate with leadership to align departmental goals with the Trust’s vision. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lincoln.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education
- Qualified Teacher status and strong teaching capabilities
- Experience in Curriculum Development and enhancing departmental standards
- Proven Educational Leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Experience in using data to inform teaching practices and improve outcomes
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field is highly desirable
