Chief Risk Officer

Our client is a well-regarded asset manager looking to appoint a Chief Risk Officer. The business operates across a range of alternative strategies and has built a reputation for deep expertise, a collaborative culture, and a high-calibre team.

Reporting to the CEO, the CRO will take full ownership of the firm’s risk framework and lead a small, experienced risk function.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the enterprise risk framework across market, liquidity, counterparty, and operational risk
• Acting as the primary risk voice to the Board, Executive Committee, and Investment Committee
• Overseeing fund-level risk reporting and regulatory compliance
• Managing relationships with the FCA, fund administrators, and external auditors
• Evolving risk infrastructure and processes in line with the manager’s continued growth
• Working closely across portfolio management, operations, and compliance
