Jackson Hogg have partnered with a leading logistics business in Middlesbrough that is looking to appoint a Scandinavian Groupage Operator on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities
- Organising both groupage and full-load trailer movements between the UK and Scandinavia.
- Working effectively in a fast-paced office environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Negotiating rates with hauliers and arranging collections to meet sailing schedules.
- Providing competitive quotations in a timely manner.
- Obtaining, checking, and preparing documentation to meet customs, insurance, and packing requirements.
- Creating export and import declarations where required.
- Delivering excellent customer service, maintaining clear communication and responding professionally to queries or complaints.
- Building and maintaining strong customer and client relationships.
- Supporting the wider team and undertaking additional reasonable tasks as required by management.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, quality, and environmental procedures, as well as relevant trade compliance regulations.
