About The Role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team in London.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead our digital marketing efforts across Candidate Attraction to increase job applications across our UK operations.
  • Deliver against a comprehensive Candidate Attraction digital marketing strategy.
  • Working with peers in the Communications function, define a road map for the Balfour Beatty UK careers website.
  • Deliver digital content against Balfour Beatty’s “always on” recruitment campaign and project-specific recruitment campaigns utilising a number of approaches including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and Email marketing using our attraction Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – Beamery, Balfour Beatty social media channels, and display advertising.
  • Collaborate with the Communications function to create compelling and relevant Candidate Attraction content that positions Balfour Beatty as an employer of choice.
  • Monitor and analyse channel and campaign performance using analytics tools such as Semrush for keyword research, competitor analysis, Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager.
  • Report on all channels providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage project-specific campaign spend, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI against Candidate Attractions KPI’s.
  • Strategically place job ads on job boards such as Indeed, aligned to business priorities.
  • Generate innovative ideas to drive Candidate Attraction success and engage our target audiences.

Who we’re looking for

  • A degree or recognised post-graduate qualification in marketing, or a related field is desirable but not required.
  • Have a deep understanding of a wide range of digital areas including SEO, Paid Marketing and Organic.
  • Be able to analyse data from a range of sources e.g. Google Analytics, Talent Link etc, and be able to report on results, trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on strategy development and campaign management either in-house or agency.
  • Strong and up-to-date understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with Candidate Attraction industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating best practices and new ideas into our approach.
  • Understanding of Site Improve, Meltwater and Beamery is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas to drive marketing success.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
