Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to lead IT assessments and integrations during mergers and acquisitions.

This role focuses on ensuring smooth system consolidation, maintaining security, and supporting business continuity across projects and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT activities across the full M&A lifecycle (due diligence, planning, delivery)
• Assess and audit infrastructure including cloud, networks, and systems
• Identify risks such as legacy systems and security vulnerabilities
• Plan and deliver system and data migrations (including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory)
• Define target architecture and integration approach
• Consolidate networks, systems, and security controls
• Manage stakeholders and support change across the business
• Ensure performance, security, and successful delivery of integrations

Skills & Technical Experience

• Strong background in IT infrastructure, migrations, and enterprise environments
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid setups
• Microsoft 365 and Active Directory expertise
• Solid networking knowledge (routing, VPNs, firewalls)
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and Infrastructure as Code

Tools

• Automation using PowerShell or similar
• Familiarity with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Monitoring tools (e.g. cloud monitoring platforms)

Knowledge

• Understanding of security frameworks and compliance (e.g. ISO, GDPR)

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
• Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
• Able to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Preferred Background

• Experience working on M&A or large-scale IT transformation projects
• Cloud and Microsoft 365 migration experience
• Active Directory consolidation (multi-domain environments)
• Exposure to enterprise systems (ERP/CRM)
• Security and compliance implementation
• Automation and scripting in real-world projects
• Disaster recovery planning and execution
