What You’ll Do
- Support and encourage young people to reach their full potential
- Create a warm, safe and tidy home environment that promotes wellbeing
- Build trust whilst maintaining professional boundaries
- Empower young people to develop skills such as cooking, travel, and self‑care
- Support care planning: contribute to risk assessments, positive behaviour plans, and individual goals
- Keep accurate, reflective records and complete effective shift handovers
- Administer medication, manage petty cash responsibly and ensure safety checks are completed
- Drive company vehicles to transport young people to school, appointments and activities
- Work collaboratively with your team, attend meetings and training, and follow safeguarding procedures at all times
