Responsibilities
- Deliver end‑to‑end data science and engineering solutions for clients, including building models and deploying them into production.
- Work across a variety of projects, from high‑speed trading algorithms to logistics optimisation and election forecasting models.
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal products and tools.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications and Skills
- Fluent in Python and SQL, comfortable with the Python Open Data Science Stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Hands‑on experience with at least one LLM application pattern (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, fine‑tuning, or building LLM evaluation suites).
- Knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering; experience with frontier model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).
- Experience with MLOps / LLMOps: versioning, monitoring, and iterating models in production.
- Excellent at agentic coding; skilled at using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot and reviewing their output.
- Strong communication skills; ability to write presentation slides and demo scripts for client meetings.
- Enjoy sharing knowledge and coaching teammates.
Location and Eligibility Requirements
UK‑based, hybrid role. The successful candidate must be able to travel to London 2–4 days per month.

Base Salary and Benefits
- Annual salary: £38,000, with meaningful uplift after a performance review at the 3‑month probation mark.
