Richmond HC: Junior Hockey Director / Lead

Richmond HC London is one of the UK’s largest and most vibrant field hockey clubs. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Junior Hockey to lead and develop our thriving junior section of over 500 juniors.

As Director of Junior Hockey, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the strategic development of the junior section
• Overseeing and mentoring a team of coaches and volunteers
• Designing and delivering a high-quality coaching programme across all age groups
• Managing junior fixtures, festivals, and tournaments
• Supporting player development pathways from grassroots to performance level
• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all players
• Working alongside Senior Section Coaches to identify junior players for transition to adult hockey
• Directing Talent Centre status and liaising with England Hockey

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in coaching and managing junior hockey programmes
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A passion for youth development and community sport
• Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding certification
