Security Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Security officer on behalf of our client, Cranswick, based in Cullybackey.

Responsibilities

• Control all access to the site.
• Accurately complete vehicle check in/out sheets.
• Ensure all visitors read, understand and comply with the visitor’s policy.
• Ask visitors to produce photographic identification or seek confirmation from the visitor’s host.
• Ensure all visitors accurately complete the medical questionnaire where necessary.
• Issue visitors with a visitor pass and a visitor’s high visibility vest.
• Ensure all passes and high visibility vests are returned to security hut before visitors leave the site.
• Carry out random stop and search procedure as and when required
• Be familiar with the incident management plan, burglar and lockdown plan.
• Carry out perimeter checks and any other additional tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

• The ability to remain professional in potentially high pressured and difficult situations.
• A sound understanding of security principles.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• – Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a security role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
