HGV Refuse Driver

Job Description

Excellent opportunity to work as an HGV Driver with Derby City Council. Staffline is recruiting an HGV Driver in Derby. The hourly rate is £15.56 per hour.

The working hours of this full-time fixed position are:

• Tuesday to Friday 6am to 3:45pm

Requirements:

• LGV Cat C driving licence.
• Full, in-date CPC.
• Good level of physical fitness. Must be able to walk up to 12 miles per day over a 4‑day work week and perform very heavy lifting. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Driving refuse vehicles.
• Working as part of a small team.
• Occasional cleaning.
• Completing void clearances and pick-ups.
