Hertfordshire Community Trust (HCT) is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to provide support for Children and Young People (CYP) across the age range who may be autistic.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the multi‑disciplinary team and other agencies to assess autism and contribute to the psychology provision within the autism assessment service.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments for neuro‑divergent children and young people.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism in highly emotive and demanding settings.
- Provide supervision to an assistant psychologist and other members of the MDT.
- Participate in service development, including clinical audits, project work and service forums.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in undertaking autism assessments, including developmental and autism‑specific history taking.
- ADI‑2 trained and able to administer the assessment.
- Full valid driving licence with regular car use for business purposes.
- Resilience, flexibility and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.

This is a permanent post based across Hertfordshire. Salary will be agreed to meet service needs and demand, with a possibility of some home working, to be discussed with the manager.
