Rolling Mill Operator Setter
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay rates: £12.71 per hour for trainee candidates; up to £14.00 per hour for experienced Rolling Mill Setters. Full Time/Temp to Perm.
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm; Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm (37 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating rolling mill machinery to production specifications
- Monitoring machine performance and product quality
- Carrying out machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting
- Ensuring materials are processed efficiently and safely
- Completing production documentation accurately
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operating environment preferred
- Experience as a rolling mill setter/operator advantageous but not essential for trainee applicants
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
