Application Support Engineer EQD Application Support – Trading Systems (Fintech)£400 per day | Outside IR35 | 6‑month contract | London (Hybrid) A global electronic trading firm is strengthening its front‑line EQD production support capability. This role exists to protect revenue‑critical systems used directly by trading desks. This is a high‑impact support role where you will: Own production support for EQD trading applications Act as an escalation point for live incidents and system issues Perform system health checks, monitoring and change management Work directly with traders, developers and infrastructure teams What we’re looking for:~3–5+ years in trading or fintech application support~ Strong Linux and command‑line skills~ Python and/or Bash scripting experience~ Solid SQL for investigation and troubleshooting~ Experience supporting production systems under pressure
