Job Role: We are seeking an organised and proactive Dispatcher to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role is crucial in coordinating patient transport, managing driver schedules, and ensuring timely communication between staff and services. You will play a key role in supporting patient care by keeping operations efficient and responsive.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for patient transport and medical deliveries
• Monitor schedules and adjust assignments to meet urgent operational needs
• Act as the main communication point between drivers, clinical staff, and management
• Maintain accurate records of journeys, timings, and service requests
• Ensure compliance with NHS and UTC operational policies
• Handle urgent calls and prioritise tasks effectively under pressure
• Support smooth day‑to‑day transport and operational activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or healthcare coordination preferred
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑pressure situations
• IT literacy and basic knowledge of scheduling software or databases
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
