Responsibilities

  • Lead development work on current processes and bordereaux management processes.
  • Design improvements to current reporting systems.
  • On-board new Coverholders and Delegated Claims Administrators.
  • Review new business submissions to ensure proposals align with Talbot’s strategy and appetite, ensuring appropriate sign‑offs are received.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Claims Delegated Authority Analyst to ensure compliance with the Claims Delegated Authority Framework and Lloyd’s Principles for doing business.
  • Monitor Coverholder and DCA performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct periodic due diligence reviews of Coverholders and Delegated Claims Administrators in line with the relevant framework.
  • Review Binding Authority Agreements and Delegated Claims Administrator contracts.
  • Assist with the administration of the Delegated Authority Audit Programme, including scheduling and scoping of audits.
  • Analyse audit reports, agree on recommendations with internal stakeholders, and track recommendations through to completion.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters, claims adjusters, brokers, external auditors and Lloyd’s.
  • Support the Product Governance process and prepare committee packs for internal committee meetings.
  • Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders on Delegated Authority matters.
  • Escalate Delegated Authority breaches to appropriate forums.
  • Provide training across the business, including Lineslip training for internal and external needs.
  • Mentor other members of the Delegated Authority team.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in Delegated Authority Practices and deep knowledge of Lloyd’s processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Conduct Risk and Product Oversight.
  • Ability to manage workload, multitask, and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, good problem‑solving attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior management.
