I am recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced GRP Laminator to join a growing manufacturing team.
My client is a well-established specialist within the composites industry, producing high-quality GRP products for a range of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled GRP Laminator looking to join a busy and professional environment where quality and attention to detail are highly valued.
The successful GRP Laminator will play a key role in the production process, working with composite materials to manufacture high-quality GRP components to specification and deadline requirements.
The role would suit an experienced GRP Laminator who takes pride in their workmanship and is confident working within a fast‑paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Hand lay‑up and laminating of GRP products
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Preparing moulds and materials prior to laminating
- Trimming, finishing and inspecting completed components
- Ensuring all products meet quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working closely with production teams to meet deadlines
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a GRP Laminator
- Experience with hand lay‑up and composite materials
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of health and safety within manufacturing
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Flexibility to support overtime when required
