The Role
We’re partnering with a fast-growing, venture‑backed company building a next‑generation IoT platform powering tens of thousands of connected devices and millions of real‑time data points.
They’re now hiring a Head of IoT Platform Engineering to own and scale a cloud‑native SaaS platform at the heart of their product.
This is a rare opportunity to combine deep technical leadership, product thinking, and commercial impact in a business where IoT, real‑time data, and AI are core to the mission.
Working closely with Product, Device, and Customer teams, you’ll build a platform that is:
- Highly scalable and real‑time
- Secure and enterprise‑grade
- Ready for AI and edge evolution
What You’ll Do
- Define and drive the platform strategy and roadmap
- Lead, hire, and mentor a high‑performing engineering team
- Architect systems across device management, ingestion, messaging, and analytics
- Own AWS infrastructure, security, and compliance
- Partner with commercial teams on customer adoption and platform growth
What They’re Looking For
- Experience leading IoT SaaS platforms at scale
- Deep understanding of IoT, real‑time data, and distributed systems
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast‑paced, scaling environments
