Assistant Manager
Salary: £31,320 per annum.
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Retail Manager passionate about exceptional food and world‑class customer service, who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for a major High Street brand on a full‑time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise between the team and manager to ensure we continually exceed expectations.
- Motivate the team to keep everyone on task.
- Assist the manager with managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plans.
- Manage the tills and process payments.
- Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role.
- Assist with paperwork when required.
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience managing teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ambitious and motivated, always looking to upskill.
