Material Handler II | Location: Paisley | Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour | Contract: Full-Time, 6 Months | Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (37.5 hours per week) | Overtime: Available
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler II to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate picking and packing of customer orders to ensure they are shipped correctly and on time. You will work within a fast-paced environment that follows strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders efficiently to meet daily deadlines.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Use in-house PC software to track shipments and maintain accurate records.
- Safely operate warehouse machinery, including Counterbalance and Reach trucks.
- Participate in 5S and process improvement initiatives (PPI).
- Perform in-process checks to ensure all shipments meet quality requirements.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environment.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to maintain accurate digital records.
- Capability to lift up to 25kg and work in cold storage environments (4°C to -20°C).
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
