CNC Laser Operator – Bespoke Packaging Equipment
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join a busy and growing workshop team specialising in bespoke packaging equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on CNC Laser Operator with strong attention to detail and experience working to tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.
The successful CNC Laser Operator will play a key role in preparing and producing precision components to support fabrication and assembly activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- The CNC Laser Operator will read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches.
- Set up, nest, and operate CNC laser and press brake machinery.
- Work to precise measurements and tolerances to ensure high-quality output.
- Interpret and adjust machine programmes where required.
- Operate workshop machinery and associated tools safely and efficiently.
- Organise piece parts to ensure ease of fabrication and smooth workflow through the workshop.
- Apply strong material knowledge to ensure the correct processes and handling methods are followed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC Laser Operator or within a similar CNC / fabrication role.
- Experience with machine set-up, nesting, and operation of CNC laser and press brake equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication sketches.
- FLT licence desirable but not essential.
