What you will do
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Rehabilitation: Deliver high-quality interventions to support patients in regaining functional independence.
- Discharge Planning: Facilitate safe and effective discharge processes in collaboration with the wider MDT.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support the Occupational Therapy team, offering mentorship and guidance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records using SystmOne, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care delivery.
Qualifications / Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
- Strong knowledge of moving and handling principles and BLS.
- Experience using SystmOne.
- Full UK driving licence, as travel may be required.
