Multi Trade Operatives (Carpenter)

About the Team

We are responsible for delivering improvement and cyclical works across the entire operational area of Abri Group. Using both in‑house teams and approved sub‑contractors, we carry out major improvement works for our customers’ homes, from kitchen and bathroom renovations to roof replacement and insulation. Our Contract Surveyors also specify and implement a variety of special project works throughout the year, delivering solutions for more complex issues.

Your New Role

Are you proactive, highly motivated, professional and friendly? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a multi‑skilled operative with a high level of carpentry skill, working around Yeovil, Somerset and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out carpentry maintenance repairs and installations at Abri properties.
• Ensuring all work is planned, programmed and completed to customer satisfaction.
• Working as a team player to deliver efficient and effective installations.
• Representing Abri as a friendly face and ambassador, providing a high‑quality, “right first time” service to customers.
• Maintaining good building maintenance practice and ensuring all works comply with building standards.

Qualifications

• High skill level as a Carpenter with multi‑skilled operative experience.
• Proactive, highly motivated, professional and friendly attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple locations.
• Excellent customer service skills and a “can do” attitude.
