Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join award‑winning Derbyshire Catering Service. We are recruiting a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service at The Green Infant School.
• Work at a production unit or servery unit.
• Perform tasks such as food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance, and preparing the dining room for service.
• Serve meals to customers while ensuring food hygiene and health & safety regulations are followed.
• Demonstrate an attitude appropriate to the school environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate required upon appointment.
