Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Commercial Heating Engineer with a strong working knowledge of Steam Heating systems for a full‑time, permanent position on a very large static site in South Mimms. This large educational site holds a number of multi‑skilled engineers that are mechanical and electrical bias.
The ideal candidate is a senior level engineer experienced in commercial heating and building services maintenance, with a strong knowledge of large steam systems and holding the BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme).
It is a Monday to Friday position; however, the engineer will join a rota to conduct weekend steam checks.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical engineer
- Commutable to South Mimms
- Must hold at least CODNCO1, CIGA, TPCP1A and CDGA1
- Level 3 Mechanical Qualification
- BOAS (boiler operation accreditation scheme)
- Must be happy to deal with other on‑site maintenance duties
- Ability to join the rota to complete weekend steam checks
