Senior Project Manager

Job Role

We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager, with experience in the digital, data and technology world. The successful candidate will have commercial awareness and be responsible for all aspects of project management, including the direction, planning and budgeting, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects while ensuring consistency with overall strategy, commitments, and goals. You will gain fantastic experience working in the cloud with data analytics, AI and Machine Learning. The successful candidate will have 10 plus years of working with data projects, including leading teams and presenting business outcomes to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Successfully manage relationships with the client and partner organization.
• Lead and coordinate project planning, resourcing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and budget management.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management (CXO) levels
• Manage services related revenue target including opportunity pipeline/funnel development, risk assessment, cost/benefit analysis as well as forecast signed services revenue and resource requirements for proposed services engagements
• Communicate and track regularly on the status of project goals by ensuring project results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
• Monitor performance and recommend changes to the plan, cost and resource allocations.
• Provide direction and support to project team to ensure accomplishment of agreed upon goals, objectives, and deadlines.
• Assemble and coordinate project staff while managing resource availability and allocation.
• Report on progress of project to all stakeholders by presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Manage ongoing services engagements as well as generate new services revenue resulting from continuous engagements with assigned customers
• Responsible for success of analytics initiatives, programmes or functions of assigned customers through continuous customer engagement.
• Build long-term relationships through competence, trust and credibility with stakeholders and executives across the customer’s organization.

Key Requirements

• 10 plus years working experience as a Senior Project Manager
• Knowledge of data management and transformation projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar area
• Ability to lead project teams and gain consensus
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Ability to analyse solutions for the project and internal customers
• Ability to design and support improvement processes
• Ability to manage budgeting process and analyse budget performance
• · Ability to travel, as needed

Nice to Have

• Additional data and analytics project experience to include, e.g., python, R, IBM Watson, tableau, Power BI and other industry standard technologies
• Experience in the use of DevOps tools such as Git/Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience working with Cloud Service Providers (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Preference will be given to those who have experience working in the counter fraud space
• Proficient written and verbal French communication skills would be an additional nice to have
