Stainless Steel Pipe Fabricator
Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire (site-based role, no travel required)
Are you an experienced Fabricator/Welder looking for a stable, site-based position with no travel? Join our skilled team in Keighley and take pride in producing high‑quality assemblies for carbon steel and stainless‑steel pipework in grades 304, 309 & 316. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands‑on role and enjoys working with precision and craftsmanship.
What you’ll be doing
- Fabricate and weld pipework from detailed engineering drawings
- Work on assemblies ranging from small components to large structures
- Perform self‑inspection and ensure all components meet specifications
- Use MIG & TIG welding equipment, cutting tools, saws and drilling machines to deliver top‑quality fabrications
- Identify and report any issues or suggest alternative manufacturing methods
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to health & safety standards
About you
- Proven experience in mild steel structural work and stainless‑steel pipework (grades 304, 309 & 316)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Skilled in MIG & TIG welding and familiar with fabrication tools
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety‑conscious with good time management
Desirable qualifications
- City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Welding
- Abrasive Wheels certification
- Forklift / Telehandler licence
