Data Centre Facilities Engineer

Salary: £32,000 per annum + on-call allowance

Due to periods of growth and expansion a leading organisation is recruiting now. My client is looking for an Data Centre Facilities Engineer to join their team.

Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel between multiple sites
• Eligible for SC Clearance
• Working knowledge of LV Electrical systems, generators, switchgear, and critical infrastructure
• Experience with HVAC and cooling systems
• Understanding of fire detection/suppression and security systems
• Strong fault‑finding, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance (PPM schedules)
• Ability to monitor systems using BMS (Building Management Systems)
• Experience working alongside contractors, vendors, and external engineers
• Strong health & safety awareness and compliance knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
