Location: Flexible within Greater South-West – mixture of offices, project sites and home.
Hours: 12‑month fixed‑term contract – 45 hours per week, with some flexibility on hours available if desired. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design process from initial concept through to detailed design, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams to drive innovative and cost‑effective engineering solutions.
- Build collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage design quality procedures and ensure timely delivery of design information.
- Support digital design initiatives and ensure compliance with BIM standards.
Qualifications
- Level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- Experience delivering high‑value, complex design work from the main contractor perspective.
- Experience managing and driving a multi‑discipline technical engineering team.
- Ability to organise, plan, programme and manage workloads.
- Commercial awareness.
- Full driving licence.
