This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is enthusiastic about inspiring creativity and developing pupils’ practical and artistic skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Role
Teaching Art and Design Technology in line with the national curriculum.
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
Encouraging creativity, innovation and independent thinking.
Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Art and/or DT at secondary level.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Passionate about creative subjects and pupil development.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.
