Location: Newcastle, Gateshead, Northumberland, Durham, Sunderland
Start Date: Immediate start & Easter 2026
Salary: £150 per day (paid to scale)
Shift Patterns: Part-time & Full-time availability
Responsibilities
- Work with our secondary schools across the North to support students and maintain a safe, stable environment.
- Encourage a positive and engaging learning environment while managing and addressing behaviour challenges within the classroom.
- Support teacher-led delivery where applicable and assist with student progress and development.
What You’ll Need
- A calm, patient approach with a sense of humour
- Music specialism
- Willingness to learn and adapt in the face of challenges
- Experience managing challenging behaviour
- Team spirit, emotional resilience, and great communication
- Experience delivering subjects across the curriculum
- Ability to tailor lessons to meet individual students’ needs and learning styles
- Experience planning and marking
