Position Overview
We are looking to appoint a committed professional to the role of Teaching Assistant at William Perkin CE High School. William Perkin Church of England High School was opened in 2013 and is part of the Twyford Church of England Academies Trust. Its GCSE results place it within the top 5% of schools nationally. The school is founded on the successful systems and approaches of Twyford Trust, with the principle difference that it is a distinctively Christian school with open admission criteria. Key Responsibilities
- Support students in Years 7–11 with statements of Special Education Need.
- Take lead responsibility for students with learning and behavioural difficulties.
- Assist in KS3 and KS4 classrooms, providing a variety of experience.
- Work closely with the subject area to develop subject knowledge and pedagogical approaches.
- Provide on‑the‑job learning and development opportunities.
