We’re partnering with a well-known global media agency network to appoint a Chief Strategy Officer for APAC, based in Singapore. Exploring London based candidates interested in relocation.
This is a significant leadership role sitting at the intersection of media, strategy, client leadership and organisational influence. The successful candidate will help shape the strategic direction of the agency across the region, leading senior teams, driving strategic excellence and partnering closely with clients and market leadership across APAC.
We’re looking for someone with deep media expertise and strong strategic pedigree. This is not a pure brand planning role. The ideal candidate understands the mechanics of modern media, how communications ecosystems operate, how audiences behave and how strategy can unlock commercial growth for clients.
The role requires someone who can lead from the front. A strong collaborator and connector who can bring teams together, solve complex business challenges and elevate the overall strategic product across the network.
Candidates from Singapore, Australia, London and other major international markets are all of interest. Experience within global agency environments or international networks would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic product and vision across APAC markets
- Partner with regional and local leadership teams on agency growth, positioning and client development
- Drive communications and media strategy across key regional and global accounts
- Bring together media, digital, data, content and consumer insight into connected strategic thinking
- Lead, mentor and inspire strategy teams across multiple markets
- Act as a senior strategic advisor to clients and internal leadership teams
- Support major pitches, business development initiatives and agency transformation projects
- Raise the overall quality, consistency and commercial impact of strategic output across the region
- Build strong relationships across markets and foster a collaborative regional culture
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience within media, communications or integrated agency environments
- Deep understanding of traditional and modern media ecosystems
- Strong strategic leadership experience across regional or global accounts
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders and solve complex business problemsCommercially minded with strong client relationship skills
- Experience working across APAC markets strongly preferred
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders within matrixed global organisations
- Strong collaborator with the ability to connect people, departments and markets together
- Experience from major international hubs such as London, Sydney, Melbourne or Singapore highly valued
