Trainee Thatching Apprentice – NVQ 3 Pathway

Christian Brothers Grammar School offers an exciting training opportunity in thatching as part of the Future for Thatch project. This entry-level role requires no prior experience and allows students to work towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification while receiving a bursary for support.

Students will gain hands-on training, including health and safety, scaffolding, and first aid, while working on real thatched roofs. Ideal candidates should have a passion for built heritage or history and enjoy working with their hands.
