Graduate Façade Engineer
Are you interested in façade fire safety and external wall system assessments? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Graduate Façade Engineer, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Façade Engineer to join our Façade Fire Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in façade or fire engineering, along with knowledge of external wall systems and relevant fire safety legislation, is essential to thrive in this position.
The tasks you will undertake will include:
- Preparing Fire Risk Appraisal reports to PAS 9980 and assessing external wall systems
- Delivering façade fire engineering assessments, site inspections and technical advisory services
- Supporting façade design engineering projects and undertaking third‑party reviews
Qualifications
To be a successful Façade Engineer, you should be able to demonstrate:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline
