We have an opportunity for an efficient and friendly Bank Receptionist at our Windmill Care Home in Brixton Hill, London. You will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support to residents. The role is posted by Bitrecruit on behalf of Occupop.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm welcome.
- Ensure all visitors sign in and out accurately.
- Answer telephone calls promptly and deliver messages or transfer calls to the relevant person.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post.
- Maintain a neat and tidy reception area at all times.
- Coordinate with the Home Manager and Administrator to keep reception stationery stocked.
- Record and report on daily and weekly home updates as advised by the Home Manager.
- Promote the home, conduct show‑rounds, and support recruitment of new team members.
Requirements
- Positive, can‑do approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in IT applications – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a customer‑facing or reception role.
Benefits
- Salary: £13.45 per hour, zero‑hours contract.
- Working hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (minus 1 hour unpaid lunch).
