Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Production Operative and a Team Leader on a genuine temporary to permanent basis for their client based in Knowsley, L34.
The company supplies high-quality beef and vegetarian substitutes to thousands of customers worldwide and offers excellent working conditions, real opportunities for permanent contracts, and long‑term progression.
We currently have two similar roles available on the 5am‑1pm shift Monday to Friday.
Roles & Pay
Debox Operative – 13.84 per hour 5am‑6am, 13.14 per hour 6am‑1pm.
Debox Team Leader – quality of role: hands on production with supervisory duties. Salary: 15.31 per hour 5am‑6am, 14.61 per hour 6am‑1pm.
Key Duties
- Weighing out ingredients to ensure production requirements are met.
- Recycling all waste materials including packaging.
- Complete paperwork to ensure full traceability.
- Handle weights up to 25 kilograms regularly.
- Assist in achieving daily targets and KPIs.
- Maintain a clean‑as‑you‑go area and demonstrate GMP standards.
- Maintain high attention to detail and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience working under food hygiene or HACCP regulations.
- Experience in a food production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to standards.
- Strong manual handling skills.
