Responsibilities
- Work closely with teaching staff to support learning and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide individual and small group support to pupils, helping them engage with lessons, build confidence and develop independence.
- Assist pupils with SEND and EAL needs under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Contribute to maintaining a calm, focused learning environment and support effective behaviour management.
- Apply patience, adaptability and a proactive approach to ensure all pupils can achieve their full potential academically and socially.

- Describe how you would adapt your approach to support different learners in the classroom, including SEND and EAL.
- Describe how you would support positive behaviour and build strong relationships with pupils. Include how you would respond to a pupil who is disengaged or struggling to follow instructions.
- Give an example of when you have worked as part of a team to support others or achieve a shared goal, working closely with teachers and staff.
