Allen Lane is proud to be supporting UK Industrial Fusion Solutions (UKIFS) in the search for a Senior Commercial Manager to join one of the UK’s most ambitious and innovative engineering programmes.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of the STEP prototype fusion plant, helping shape the future of clean energy and supporting a programme expected to transform the global energy sector.
As Senior Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial strategy and management of high-value engineering and infrastructure contracts, working alongside industry-leading partners in a highly complex and regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead negotiation and management of complex NEC contracts
- Develop commercial and procurement strategies for major engineering programmes
- Manage contractual risk, compliance, and supplier performance
- Build collaborative relationships with Whole Plant Partners and stakeholders
- Lead and develop high-performing commercial teams
- Drive continuous improvement across commercial processes and delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Expertise in NEC contracts and procurement strategy
- Experience within engineering, infrastructure, utilities, energy, or public sector environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
