Position Summary:

Reporting to and working with the Strategic Commercial Manager UK & Ireland, the Business Development Manager will build and develop business opportunities across strategic accounts in the UK. The role will drive utilization of the full product portfolio through engagement with framework providers and expand presence within the private healthcare sector. Responsibilities include corporate-level engagement, localized hospital activity, direct interaction with implant teams, and collaboration with regional teams to support framework and private group commercial activities aligned with UK strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with territory and regional teams to deliver UK targets and growth objectives.
  • Lead regular UK framework meetings to communicate and align commercial strategy.
  • Manage daily framework communications: product, commercial and project updates.
  • Coordinate and manage framework-based rationalization projects in line with UK commercial priorities.
  • Build strong localized framework relationships to support spine team activities.
  • Develop management-level relationships across key NHS accounts to identify business opportunities.
  • Create and execute key account business plans to support spine team engagement.
  • Develop Key Opinion Leaders within account management structures.
  • Conduct regular meetings with private healthcare groups and develop strategic commercial packages to drive growth and market share.
  • Collaborate with regional managers to identify capital and implant targets and support new projects and matrix reporting.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for key account activity.
  • Adhere to company Codes of Conduct and relevant industry compliance codes and training requirements.
  • Represent the company professionally and uphold high ethical and socially responsible standards.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive spine experience is essential.
  • BA/BS in life sciences, education, business, or related discipline.
  • Previous product or project management experience advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and facilitation skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Balanced strategic thinking and technical aptitude.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
