About the Role
The successful candidate will work within the centralised Purchasing and Invoicing team, supporting pharmacy technicians and administrators. The role involves overseeing centralised purchasing, invoicing activities, off‑contract claims and assisting staff to resolve medicine supply problems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee centralised purchasing and invoicing activities.
- Manage off‑contract claims.
- Support staff in following up and resolving medicine supply issues.
- Ensure a safe, cost‑effective, efficient and quality service.

Qualifications
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- National Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 3 in Pharmacy Services.
- Completed HN Unit: Procedures for Pharmacy Dispensary Checking Technicians or Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician Award (provided by Buttercups or NPA, 2019 or before).
- HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management. Candidates without this qualification but with equivalent professional experience may be considered; a Mapping Assessment Form must be completed.
