Forklift Driver (Bendi)

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join an established e-commerce distribution business based in Bodelwyddan, North Wales.

Our client operates a busy warehouse facility, requiring a dual-licensed forklift driver comfortable with both counterbalance and bendi/pivot trucks – with a varied role that includes significant manual handling alongside forklift operation.

What’s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• 40 hours per week, across:
  • Wednesday 8am to 7pm
  • Friday 8am to 7pm
  • Saturday 8am to 5pm
  • Sunday 12:30pm to 9pm
• £14.00 per hour

Please note: The initial training period on a Tuesday to Friday pattern before moving to the permanent shift.

As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating counterbalance and bendi/pivot forklift trucks safely within a busy warehouse environment
• Moving and replenishing product into pick face locations – including significant manual handling of heavy items
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required
• Using computer systems to assist with stock management – full training provided

To be considered as a Forklift Driver, you will need:

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence – essential
• A valid bendi or pivot forklift licence – essential
• Good physical fitness due to the heavy lifting requirements of the role
• A reliable, team-focused approach to work
• Basic computer literacy is advantageous – training provided where needed
