A well‑established business media organisation is hiring a Media Business Development Manager to lead commercial partnerships across its multi‑channel platform. This is the company’s first dedicated senior media hire following strong growth and rising demand from brands wishing to reach their executive‑level audience.

Our client is a corporate membership organisation that own a multi‑platform media portfolio including chart-topping podcasts, events, round tables, webinars and content hubs. With consistent year‑on‑year growth and a loyal executive‑level audience, the business is recognised as a respected voice in the leadership, finance, technology and entrepreneurship space. Backed by established industry figures and supported by a strong commercial team, the company is expanding its media division to meet the increasing demand for high‑quality B2B advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
The Opportunity
This is a commercially‑focused media sales role selling cross‑channel advertising, sponsorship and content partnerships to B2B and premium B2C brands. You’ll engage with marketing directors, media buyers and agency partners, positioning integrated campaigns that leverage the organisation’s influence and reach. This successful applicant will be responsible for scaling media revenue, as the first dedicated hire in this division. In future you will be responsible for building a team of people that can sell in this division alongside them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Selling advertising, sponsorship and media partnerships across digital, print and events
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Building relationships with marketing leads, media buyers and agency partners
- Creating bespoke cross‑platform campaign solutions
- Growing revenue across a portfolio of high‑value clients
- Working with editorial and events teams to deliver impactful campaigns
What They’re Looking For
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years in commercial media sales
- Experience selling advertising, sponsorship or content partnerships
- Exposure to B2B audiences is highly desirable
- Able to sell into marketing and media‑buying functions
- Experience of, or potential to become a divisional leader
Character:
- Commercially sharp, credible and engaging
- Strong listener and consultative approach
- Confident in presenting multi‑channel solutions
Package
- £55,000-£65,000 basic salary
- Double OTE
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
