The People Department puts people at the heart of service delivery; by making sure we care for those who care. Within the People Directorate we strive to provide high quality support and expertise across the Hospice. We want our service to enrich the lives of our colleagues and illustrate the value we place on the care they take in their daily work, whether clinical, non-clinical, on a ward or in an office.
Our aim is to recruit, retain and invest in our people to be the best they can be. We use our expertise and skills to improve, and deliver, the palliative care and support across our community Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. We value equality, diversity and inclusions and our aim is to develop leadership and our workforce which is representative and responsive to the communities we support.
Working with the Head of People Business Partnering and the People Business Partner to achieve a culture based on our CORE values, championing continuous improvement, excellence and inclusion within the Hospice, the Assistant People Business Partner will build constructive working relationships with senior and middle managers across the organisation in support of the achievement of shared organisational objectives, in particular the ambition of the Hospice to move from being a ‘good’ to ‘great’ employer.
The Assistant People Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting the People team in the delivery of an outstanding People Service. The role involves providing guidance on People Policies, employee relations, change management, recruitment and volunteering. The Assistant People Business Partner will work closely with the People team, line managers and staff to foster a positive working environment, in alignment with the organisations values.
The Assistant People Business Partner will also hold a portfolio of HR and volunteering projects and initiatives, working with the Head of People Business partnering, the People Business Partner and the People Services team and stakeholders across the Hospice to ensure that matters of strategic importance are progressed.
