PermanentBased in Milton KeynesSupported Housing WorkerMonday – Friday – no shifts£26,500 pa – £29,000 pa A great opportunity to support a local charity that work with homeless people. Providing assistance with both housing and welfare support. Part of a small, supportive and friendly team offering emotional, mental support to ensure the wellbeing of MK residence. Experience within housing, or as a social worker is essential you will be responsible for ensuring all residence and the full needs and support.
- Provide a responsive service to homeless people, assist with housing and benefit documentation
- Review risk assessments, crisis management assessments, cover H&S for all sites in MK
- Manage maintenance requirements, action accordingly any repairs required
- Contribute to ensuring the support services are managed, assist residences with budget plans
- Knowledge of the benefits system
- Experience of housing management, connecting with housing teams
- Collaborate with support groups to support with finding employment for residence
