Fire Door Inspector
Berkshire/ Regional Travel – Home based
£40,000-£45,000

We’re looking for an experienced Fire Door Inspector to join a respected UK consultancy known for delivering specialist safety services across a wide range of residential properties. In this role, you’ll work across an interesting and varied portfolio of premium residential developments. This is a home based role with regional travel across the South of England.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Completing thorough fire door inspections and surveys within complex residential and care environments
- Carrying out on-site risk assessments in line with health and safety standards
- Identifying areas of non‑compliance with current fire safety regulations and best‑practice guidance
- Producing clear, accurate reports to support remedial planning and ongoing compliance
- Acting as a professional representative of the consultancy, building strong relationships with clients
Who We’re Looking For
- Proven experience conducting fire door inspections
- Comfortable working independently and managing a varied site schedule
- Confident using digital inspection and reporting tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with different stakeholders
- Ideally NEBOSH General Certificate/ equivalent (desirable)
