About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
- Assess and track student progress, ensuring all learners reach their potential
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs or trips
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in a Science-related subject
Required Skills
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level
- Ability to teach across all three sciences at KS3
- Passion for practical and investigative science
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £36,745 – £56,959 (MPS/UPS – Inner London)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
