With a long-standing reputation for innovation, the businesses is undergoing an exciting period of growth and is looking to bring on a talented Technical Lead to guide their engineering team through the next phase of their digital transformation.
As a Technical Lead, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of their technology stack, providing technical leadership, and working hands‑on with the latest tools and methodologies. The company prides itself on fostering a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment where your expertise will directly impact the business’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high‑quality, efficient development practices.
- Drive the design and implementation of scalable backend solutions using Microservices architecture.
- Shape the technical direction and introduce innovative tools and practices to enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to turn business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on Agile delivery and quality code.
- Oversee the development and optimisation of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly in Azure.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the wider team, ensuring growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working across the Full Stack; however, my client will also consider candidates who are more backend leaning.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus
