We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join their team covering West London. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term role within a reputable organisation delivering essential maintenance services to residents.
The Role
As a Repairs Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day responsive repairs operations, ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. You will manage a team of operatives and subcontractors while acting as a key point of contact for clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of trades operatives across multiple sites
- Allocate and monitor works to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met
- Carry out pre- and post-inspections of repair works
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and client representatives
- Manage materials, workload distribution, and job progress using PDA systems
- Handle escalations and resolve complaints in a professional manner
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor within social housing or a similar environment
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, electrical)
- Experience managing responsive repairs and maintenance contracts
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
