What the Role Is About

This is a pivotal role at the heart of the mobilisation journey for Workforce Management (WFM), with accountability for overseeing all workforcerelated activity associated with new business wins across Compass UK & Ireland. This includes TUPE transfers, contract mobilisations, and the seamless integration of new units within existing contracts.

You will play a critical role in translating commercial success into operational readiness, ensuring new colleagues are effectively onboarded, trained, scheduled, and paid accurately from day one. Your work will directly influence colleague experience, operational performance, and compliance during one of the most businesscritical phases of the contract lifecycle.

Frominitialnotification of a new business win through to full mobilisation, you willoperateasa central pointof coordination. Working in close partnership with Mobilisation Managers, the Sector HR community, Workforce Management Operations, and a wide network of internal and external stakeholders, you will ensureaccurateinformation flows at pace and that key milestones are delivered on time and to standard.

Key Responsibilities

You will take ownership of advocating, embedding, andmaintainingrobust standards and processes that underpin new business onboarding. Ensuring consistent adoption and compliance across the organisation, you will proactivelyidentifyrisks, issues, and dependencies, escalating them to the Mobilisation team and WFM Operations with clarity, balance, and pragmatism.

Your contribution will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, reducing risk, and enabling a positive and confident experience for new colleagues and managers alike.

Key Areas of Focus(not exhaustive)

Mobilisation & Systems Enablement

  • Facilitate the smooth mobilisation and compliance of all HR platforms and WFM processes, including OurTime, Lone Worker, Hire Hub, PeopleWorks, andWorkJam.
  • Act as the primary WFM point of contact for all new business types, supporting Mobilisation Managers and WFM Operations throughout theendtoendprocess.
  • Attend new business and mobilisation calls asrequired, ensuring clear ownership ofWFMactions and outcomes.
  • Maintain strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholdersincludingthirdpartyhardware suppliers.
  • Work collaboratively withcrossfunctionalteams toidentify, resolve, and prevent issues.
  • Proactivelyidentifyand escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholdersin a timely manner.

EndtoEnd New Business Management

  • Ensure all new business mobilisations are managed through a structured,endtoendprocess.
  • Maintain agreed service levels to achieve key SLAs.
  • Manage activities through the project management platform Wrike, ensuring visibility and accountability.
  • Ensure new business sites raise the correct tickets to enabletimelydelivery.
  • Support sites in ordering, receiving, and implementing the correct clocking solutions.
  • Coordinate with data, finance, and configuration teams to ensure all critical tasks are completed ahead ofgolive.
  • Deliverdayonemobilisation andfirstpayoutcomes with no avoidable risk.

Training & Capability Building

  • Host and deliver training for new managers, including:
    • Weekly New Manager Clinic sessions.
    • Training on new functionality within live mobilisations.
  • Signpost and support new sites to complete all requiredcompanyapprovedtraining prior togolive.
  • Provide expert support to the UK & Ireland WFM Clinic, sharing best practice and guidance.
